SUMMARY:World Radiotherapy Awareness Day

DESCRIPTION:We want to bring the Radiotherapy community together to launch a World Radiotherapy Awareness Day during London Global Cancer Week. The event on the 14th November 2024 is about pledging support and for founding members to discuss how they would like the day to run\, including finalising the date\, the theme and the strategy for the formal launch next year. So far we have a endorsement as partners from the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA)\, African Organisation for Research and Treatment in Cancer (AORTIC)\, RCR\, ESTRO\, ASTRO\, RANZCR\, the Federation of Asian Organisations for Radiation Oncology (FARO) and the Latin American & Caribbean Society of Oncology (SLACOM). The event is hybrid and a small group of us will meet at Conway Hall\, Red Lion Square\, London for session\, which will run from 9-10am.\n\n
