DESCRIPTION:BAOMS with AAOMS Annual Scientific Meeting 3 -5 July 2019 at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham\, UK\n\nThe conference will be held in conjunction with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS).\n\nThe Call for Abstracts is now open and will close noon (GMT) on Tuesday 22 January 2019.\n\nThe theme of the Congress will be ‘Controversies'.\n\nSubmit your abstract in one of the following categories:\n Aesthetic\n Audit\n Cancer\n Cleft\n Craniofacial\n Dento Alveolar\n Facial Skin Cancer\n Head and Neck Reconstruction\n Implants\n Miscellaneous\n Oral Medicine/Pathology\n Orthognathic\n Quality of Life and Oral Facial Rehab\n Research\n Salivary\n TMJ\n Trauma/Maxillofacial Trauma\n\nWhy submit your abstract?\n\nIn addition to a full three day educational and social programme\, the conference aims to provide attendees with the opportunity to gain up to date knowledge on the latest developments in research\, audit\, education\, surgical techniques\, clinical patient management and outcomes in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. This is delivered through seminars led by experts in their field\, masterclasses and short papers and ePosters presenting the latest research and developments.\n\nIf accepted your abstract will also appear as a citeable reference in the online British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery\, which will help to enhance your CV. There are also a number of prizes on offer to BAOMS members. Please note that if your paper or poster is accepted then the main author will be required to register and attend at least one day of the conference.\n\nThe deadline for abstract submission is 12 noon GMT on Tuesday 22 January 2019. BAOMS has a paperless electronic process for all abstracts\, and online submission is now open.
