Samantha Holmes
AHP Rep

Sam Holmes is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with fifteen years' specialist experience in head and neck cancer. She serves as one of the Allied Health Professional representatives on the BAHNO Council. Her clinical career has included service lead roles across London and most recently Oxford, as well as serving as a medico-legal expert witness within the head and neck cancer field.

Sam is passionate about the AHP voice in head and neck cancer care and the vital contribution of the multidisciplinary team to patient outcomes. After a clinical fellowship to the Chief Sustainability Officer for NHS England, she left the NHS to works as a Senior Programme Manager at the Sustainable Healthcare Coalition, bringing an AHP perspective to work on the environmental sustainability of care pathways.

Sam values opportunities to connect clinical practice with broader system-level thinking, and is committed to representing the interests and expertise of AHPs within BAHNO's work.
