ENTUK2WW triage

Through ENTUK, some of the surgeons amongst you will be aware of the attached validated telephone triaging system and service evaluation for head and neck cancer patients. Given the current move towards telephone consultations for both new and follow-up patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, we thought that more widespread awareness of the tool might be of benefit. Preliminary data indicates a >85% reduction in outpatient face-to-face consultations. For those of you not familiar with the concept the rationale can most easily be found on page 5 of the protocol.
