Call for Nominations
The following positions will become vacant from the AGM 2022 and nominations are sought:
Conference Secretary (2022 – 2026)
Mr Ceri Hughes will become the President Elect from the AGM 2022 and it is, therefore, necessary to find another member to fill the position of Honorary Conference Secretary. The holder of this position becomes a Trustee of the Association.

One representative from OMFS specialty required (2022 – 2026)
Mr Andrew Schache will become the Honorary Administrative Secretary from the AGM 2022 and there will, therefore, be a vacancy for another OMFS representative on Council (to join Mr Michael Nugent).

Please note: All members of Council must be fully subscribed and have been members of the Association for more than 12 months. Each nomination must be accompanied by the name of a proposer and seconder who are either Full or Associate members of the Association. Members of Council are elected for a period of 4 years; they are then eligible for a further term of 3 years. Members of Council are expected to attend the AGM and at least 3 out of 4 Council meetings per year. Meetings are currently held over a virtual platform. A ballot will be held, if necessary.
EDI officer - co-opted position
BAHNO is keen to co-opt a member onto Council to oversee and advise on the BAHNO EDI policy and implementation. Given the current make-up of the BAHNO Council, women and in particular female surgeons, are strongly encouraged to apply.
A co-opted member may not vote on Council matters but will be invited to attend selected meetings of Council. Meetings for 2022 are all planned to be held via ZOOM.
