Download Event to Calendar

We have recently established a UK HPV special interest group of psychology and healthcare researchers, all of whom are conducting research in behavioural aspects of cervical screening, HPV vaccination, and/or other HPV related cancers.

To formally launch the group, we have organised a webinar which will take place on Tuesday 2nd November from 12-2pm (UK time).

We will have a keynote talk from Dr Zeev Rosberger of McGill University who will be talking about challenges and opportunities for HPV research and practice. We will also have presentations by Professor Daniel Kelly from the European Cancer Organisation HPV Network, Professor Helen Bedford (UCL) on inequalities in HPV vaccination, Dr Sue Sherman (Keele University) on physical disability and cervical screening, and Dr Denzita Williams (Cardiff University) on health care communication especially around shared decision making and screening. There will be an opportunity for questions and the event will end with a panel discussion, with discussants including Dr Jo Waller from King's College London.

The event is likely to be of interest to health care policy makers and practitioners, to charities, and to health researchers.

Free registration for the event (you just need to provide your name, affiliation, and an email address for the Zoom invitation) is here: https://forms.office.com/r/np6yP1UtDM
