Liverpool Head & Neck Centre - Advanced Head & Neck Reconstruction Course

The Liverpool Advanced Head and Neck Reconstruction Course is an in depth, full-body cadaveric lab. It includes a full day of hands on custom planning for all composite free flap options for H&N reconstruction, with virtual surgical planning sessions aligned to the cadaveric specimens. This is followed by 3 days of dedicated free flap harvest experience with 2 delegates per cadaver.

The course boasts a faculty of national and international experts in H&N reconstruction capable of demonstrating both the technical elements of flap harvest but also the critical understanding of defect restoration for those surgeons wishing to undertake complex reconstruction.

As an advanced course we would recommend this course to delegates with prior surgical experience of routine free tissue harvest (as a minimum) with ambition to develop complex free tissue transfer capabilities/techniques and associated skills.
