The British Society of Head and Neck Imaging, in partnership with the British Institute of Radiology, is delighted to announce the tenth Head and Neck Imaging Refresher Course, on the 7 February 2025 in Cardiff.

This one-day course will focus on the imaging anatomy and pathology of the pharynx, paranasal sinuses and temporal bone with lectures from head and neck radiologists and ENT surgeons.

The course programme puts great emphasis on interactive learning, with interactive case based workshops to complement the main lecture themes.
This course is ideal for any medical/dental professional with an interest in head and neck imaging, including radiologists, non-radiologists, advanced healthcare practitioners and medical students. Speciality trainees and consultants are equally welcome.



Educational aims:

-Simplify the imaging anatomy of the naso, oro, hypopharynx and larynx.
-Highlight radiology ‘ top tips’ when assessing pathology of the pharynx and larynx.
-To understand the anatomy of the paranasal sinuses and anterior skull base and how to differentiate inflammatory from malignant disease.
-Describe the imaging anatomy of the temporal bone and the different imaging options available for assessing pathology
-Demonstrate how to tailor sinus and temporal bone imaging reports to aide surgical management
