Successful canditates announced

BAHNO is pleased to announce that two grants have been awarded this year as Travel Awards to Associate members.

Both David Allin and Adal Mirza will be heading to Canada shortly to continue their studies.

David will be going to the Université de Montréal (UdeM), a highly regarded tertiary oncological H&N centre. The H&N unit is led by 5 consultants, and it receives referrals from across the state, nationally and internationally.

Adal will be going to the University of Dalhousie, Nova Scotia, where the remoteness of the unit poses certain challenges. The microsurgical volume of work at this institute is imposing and would comfortably place Adal within a choice group of surgeons happy to see, manage and raise and inset free vascularised tissue into the head and neck.

We wish both David and Adal well in their studies!
