Election News

There will be several new faces on BAHNO Council following the AGM on 15 th May. Many thanks to the nominees and to all members who voted and supported the process. Following the recent elections, I am pleased to announce the new and returning specialty representatives on council commencing following the AGM in May 2026.

They are as follows:

ENT representative – Kat Davies
Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Speciality Representative – Saadia Farooq
Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Speciality Representative – Prav Praveen
EDI Officer – Sabina Khan

We also welcome 2 new trustees -

Honorary Conference Secretary – Clare Shilling
Honorary Admin Secretary - Somiah Siddiq

President Elect, who will become BAHNO president following the AGM in 2027 - Andrew Schache

Council would like to give thanks to Stuart Winter who is ending his term on Council as Honorary Conference Secretary, Hannah Fox who ends her term as ENT Rep, and Mike Nugent who ends his term as OMFS Rep.

Finally, BAHNO council would like to make a particular point of thanking Ceri Hughes for his hard work and dedication to the association.

Ceri will end over a decade of tenure on BAHNO Council both as conference secretary and then importantly, as president of the association. We would like to express our gratitude to all those colleagues who were prepared to put themselves forward in the elections.
